"Within the 4 years that the school has been operating, there has been much development in relation to partnerships with local facilities and resources, this has supported the establishment of the school in the community and strengthened the sense of community cohesion.  Children & young people from Barton now access college in the local community, are engaged with community art projects and have taken part in a range of work experience opportunities.  These opportunities not only support the achievement of Barton’s vision but importantly allow for the achievement of the students’ aspirations".
