Housing
Supported Housing Schemes are provided by Housing Providers who are separate from, but who work in close collaboration with Wider Options. Wider Options staff will help tenants to comply with their tenancies and work with the landlord at all times. The Tenants receive Housing Benefit and pay rent to the Landlord. Wider Options works in partnership with experienced, specialist, property developers and Housing providers. This partnership ensures that the specialist requirements of the individuals with an autistic spectrum disorder and/ or learning difficulties are understood from the outset and translated into the development of quality, purpose built housing. The housing provider ensures long term support is given to the Tenants in their home.
Person Centred Planning
Person Centred Planning places the person at the centre of the planning activity. As a result of this, the support required is determined by the person with autism and/ or learning difficulties and those who know them best.
