About Us

 

Options Group is a proactive and forward-thinking organisation run by an experienced management team and supported by sector specialists. Established in 1999, we have grown steadily and are now trusted by more than 60 local authorities to provide specialist care, education and therapy to almost 200 children, young people and adults.

Our Pathway approach ensures that our services are outcomes-focussed and promote progression for young people who have experienced disruption, and sometimes trauma, in their lives. Our BESD services include Young Options, Ofsted "Outstanding" residential and educational services for children and young adults; Family Options, a specialist Ofsted "Outstanding" fostering service for young people aged 7 to 17; and Further Options, ongoing community based accommodation and support for young people and adults aged 16+.

Our BESD services are well-established and highly regarded in the sector. All our services are either working towards achieving, or have already achieved, Investors in People accreditation.

We also benefit from working in partnership with sector specialists including the Independent Children’s Homes Association. Our BESD services are supported by a dedicated Professional and Clinical Multidisciplinary Team (PCMT) led by consultant clinical psychologist Dr Ze’ev Levita, who has more than 30 years’ professional experience of working as a clinical psychologist with children, young people and adults.

We recognise however that it is the people working at Options Group who are the fundamental reason for its success and are proud to employ hundreds of passionate and experienced staff who deliver high-quality care, education and therapy every day.
