The PCMT

Exclusive to Options Group, the highly successful Professional and Clinical Multidisciplinary Team (PCMT) provides therapeutic and clinical input in tandem with our care and education services.

The team compile up-to-date, ‘big picture’ evaluations which collates existing reports and information about new placements and assesses the effects of previous breakdowns. The resulting psychological evaluation reports enhance our understanding of young peoples' needs and informs future care, education and therapy decisions.

The PCMT uses a range of psychotherapy and intervention approaches as appropriate including:

• Behavioural Intervention Systems
• Rational-Emotional Behaviour Therapy
• Relapse Prevention
• Transactional Analysis

These aim to promote the emotional well-being and personal development of the young people in our care, and give them the resources required for a successful transition into adulthood.

The Team

The PCMT is made up of professionally qualified and clinically skilled staff who can offer the range of specialist services required by young people with severe behavioural, psychological and psychiatric presentations.

The team is headed by Consultant Clinical Psychologist Dr Ze’ev Levita, who has more than 30 years’ professional experience of working as a clinical psychologist with adults, adolescents and children.
