At Family Options we believe that all young people have the right to receive an education that will help them to achieve their full potential.
Family Options therefore assesses educational needs as part of the fostering process. Provision can combine foster care and support to access mainstream education or foster care and fully integrated support in Shropshire and Young Options Pathway College Stoke.
We work closely with young people, our carers, support and clinical staff and relevant agencies to provide person centred programmes integrating care, education and therapy, bearing in mind the trauma and disruption many young people will have experienced before coming to us.

Debbie's story
"Debbie is now living successfully with a family; this is something that her local authority had never have imagined possible due to the previous severe disruption and multiple placement breakdowns she suffered. Prior to being placed with her family Debbie spent time in secure accommodation and three years in and out of emergency/crisis placements."
