Specialist Schools
Our Specialist Schools enable students to develop important life skills and achieve academically within safe, structured environments. As each student progresses these skills are transferred to and developed within the wider community as they become more independent.
- Barton School located on the edge of Barton upon Humber in North Lincolnshire, is a purpose-built school enabling children and young people aged 8–19 with autistic spectrum conditions to make sense of and engage with the world around them
- Higford School is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art, school for children and young people aged between 8-19 with autistic spectrum conditions and complex sensory, communication, behavioural and physical needs located on a peaceful 28-acre site near Telford in Shropshire.
- Kinsale School is a specialist school for children with autistic spectrum conditions set in a stunning location overlooking the Dee Estuary in North Wales, providing specialised person centred programmes of integrated care, education and therapy.
Transitions Services
Options Group’s Adolescent to Adult Life Preparation Services (AALPS) offers specialist transitions support and longer term care to people aged from 15+ with autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, learning disabilities and complex needs.
- AALPS North is a well-established, specialist residential service for people aged 16+, with placements available across 2 sites located in rural settings close to Scunthorpe. AALPS North creates pathways that guide young people through their journey towards increased independence.
- AALPS Midlands is a well-established, specialist residential service for people aged 15+. Based at Hanley Castle in Worcestershire within easy travelling distance of Worcester, Bristol, Cheltenham and Gloucester, AALPS Midlands offers personal development programmes that enable people to fulfil their potential for independence.
- AALPS Cymru is a specialist residential service for people aged 18+. Set in a stunning rural location overlooking the Dee Estuary in North Wales, AALPS Cymru enables people with complex needs to prepare for independence.
Community Support Services
Our Community Support Services provide community based accommodation and self-directed support for people aged 18+ with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC), learning disabilities and complex needs. These services support people aiming to become more independent, so for example people who wish to move into their own flats.
- Bredon House is a CQC registered Community Support Service providing accommodation and personalised support to people with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC), learning disabilities and complex needs. Based in the local community of Powick, Bredon House consists of 8 independent flats each with bedroom, en-suite bathroom, kitchen/diner and lounge.
- Applegate House is a CQC registered Community Support Service providing accommodation and personalised support to people with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC), learning disabilities and complex needs. Based in the local community of Barton-upon-Humber, Applegate House consists of 6 independent flats each with bedroom, en-suite bathroom, kitchen/diner and lounge.
Adult Residential Services
Our adult residential services offer people with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs all the support they need to develop social, communication and life skills, to make choices about their own lives and to live as independently as possible.
