Options Group provides specialist seminars to assist in the understanding of the problems associated with and faced by individuals with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder. These seminars are provided on a regional basis and open to families endeavouring to cope with the problems of autism and also professionals looking to provide support to both the individuals and their families.
The seminars are led by individuals with cutting edge experience in providing support and some of the leading trainers and conference speakers in the country.
Our objective is to assist in creating an environment whereby the autistic individual is understood, supported and helped to achieve an optimum living standard and the highest level of independence possible.

Behaviour and Autism
This seminar looks at a whole range of behaviours presented by individuals with autism and seeks to offer some practical supportive strategies. Geoff will look in particular at the impact of environment, sensory processing, communication and interaction upon behaviour. A short workbook will be provided to enable participants to apply information and strategies to individual children and adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Speaker: Geoff Evans
Geoff is Deputy Director of ASD Services at the Options Group. In recent years, Geoff has consolidated a national and international reputation as an expert speaker and specialist trainer in Autism. His extensive experience in the field has been used by universities, the National Autistic Society and others to enhance the design, content and delivery of a range of training programmes. His continuing professional and academic interests in ASD include sexuality in adolescence, sensory perception and processing in young people, challenging behaviour and family support.
