The Things They Don’t Talk About at Conferences

This short seminar looks at the issues that are so real for parents but often overlooked by professionals such as toileting, sleeping, inappropriate sexual activities and eating difficulties.

Speaker: Pat Smith

Pat is the Principal Educational Psychologist with the Options Group. She has over 20 years of experience of supporting children and young people with an ASD, their schools and their families. Throughout her career she has had an interest in the areas of language and communication and in particular autism. She has delivered training for a range of professionals working with children with autism and has also worked with parent groups. Pat is currently studying for a Doctorate of Education at the University of Sheffield.
