The Options Institute provides professional support services to the Options Group and within the Institute there are three main divisions.

Professional and Clinical Support Services
Director – Keith Howie

  • Organises the provision of high quality clinical and professional services to meet needs that the support service, in conjunction and partnership with the service heads, identify & define.

  • Advises on the most appropriate form of professional input in a given set of circumstances.

  • Advises on the recruitment of professional and clinical staff.

  • Accredits all internal and external consultant professional and clinical staff throughout the Group.

  • Supervises the professional supervision, CPD and other development programmes of all clinical and professional staff and ensures their continued external accreditation.

Most services are delivered by designated professional staff embedded in services, working under the day to day administrative management of the Centre Head, with professional leadership and accountability to a lead practitioner.

Personal and Professional Development
(Training Options) – Director – Manar Matusiak

  • Supports operational performance in all Centres by organising and delivering Induction and Mandatory Training on their behalf.

  • Maintains and develops accredited training centres to facilitate the above.

  • Organises programmes of continuing professional development that meet needs identified within Personal Development Plans, for the mutual benefit of the company and the individual.

  • Develops training that reflects and underpins the operation of the Group Policy Framework (see below).

  • Provides specialist training throughout the Group and where appropriate to external clients.

Most services are delivered by designated professional staff embedded in services, working under the day to day control of the Centre Head.

Policy, Compliance and Service Development
Director – Clive Firman

  • Generates and maintains the Group Policy Framework

  • Independent internal service audit by the Quality and Compliance Manager to meet regulatory requirements and support policy and quality review processes.

  • Registration and Compliance. Coordination of all statutory registration and compliance matters, throughout the Options Group.

  • Service Development. Overall coordination of new service development proposals as well as specific project management services.

Range of corporate support functions to both the Institute and the Group Chief Executive’s team.
