Personal And Professional Development

The Options Group is committed to the personal and professional development of its employees at every level.  The Personal and Professional Development department works with individuals and services to provide a positive balance between the needs of each staff member and the needs of the service as a whole.

To this end the personal and professional development of every employee follows a 3-stage plan:

  • Induction and statutory training

  • Skills training and role development

  • Personal development for future progression within the organisation.

Support to employees is provided through a variety of routes which include

  • Support from the regional and divisional training departments

  • Support from the Clinical and Professional department

  • Support from the Human Resource department

  • Support from the line management structure through supervisions and appraisals

  • Support through a BUPA confidential counselling scheme.
