We work in partnership with local authorities and PCT’s across England and Wales to provide the highest quality fostering placements for looked after children and young people. Our foster carers are members of an extensive professional team that gives children and young people the opportunity to live within consistent and happy family environments and achieve their personal dreams and aspirations.
Following our comprehensive assessment and matching processes, we provide person-centred programmes that integrate the care, education and therapy needs of the children and young people placed with us.
We are committed to providing our foster carers with the support and training they require to feel valued and confident that the care they provide is really “making a difference.” Options Fostering believe that fostering is a profession and as such ensure that approved foster carers have access to on-going training and development opportunities and are treated in a professional role. All foster carers have a Professional Development Portfolio (PDP) and there is an expectation that they will, with the support of the agency, take responsibility for their training requirements.
Carers are also provided with ongoing professional and clinical support from the Options clinical team.
